The Hotel 17 is a fantastic little hotel, conveniently located downtown in the Gramercy Park District. Rooms are decorated eclectically. The hotel was once called the Warhol factory of the 90's. Entertainment Weekly voted Hotel 17 in the top 10 coolest movie locations. Madonna, as well as many other artists, models, and actresses/actors have done photo shoots in many of our rooms. Many of our rooms are considered to be "miniature studios" by many Photographers/Movie Directors that are World renowned to many in the industry. A few years ago Woody Allen filmed his movie "Manhattan Murder Mystery" at Hotel 17. Hotel 17's reigning diva, Amanda Lepore, has done a vast array of music videos for David Bowie, Dandy Warhols (which was a number one video for weeks), among many other artists. She has done countless numbers of photo shoots for the renowned "David LaChappelle". One of the photos he did with her won "Best photo of the year" for Life Magazine. Amanda recently acquired a role in a future major film that will be starting soon. Amanda as usual, is still hosting many parties throughout Los Angeles, New York, Japan, and in Europe. Everyone at Hotel 17 wishes Amanda all the best in the future and can't wait to see her on the big screen. A few years ago Woody Allen filmed his movie "Manhattan Murder Mystery" at Hotel 17. The hotel is minutes to fine dining, shopping and entertainment.
